What a POS

Review: Lense (zoom) motor stopped working exactly 4 days after warranty period expired. Lots of reviews on the net about users that experienced the same. The Nikon service department must have programmed this into the camera (nice revenue stream).

Nikon Coolpix is...cool

The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend the Coolpix 4300. The picture quality is excellent, it is easy to use for a beginner but enough features for enthusiasts at a moderate price.
Review: My previous experience with a digital camera has been with the "snapshot" feature on an analog video camera. The quality was awful but you could download the photos through a serial port which was kind of cool. I later saw digital cameras at parties...

Excellent Point and Shoot Camera with bonus options.

The Bottom Line: A great point and shoot that offers enough flexibility to please professionals but not enough to be more than a point and shoot. 4 megapixel but a bit pricey.
