2006 Nissan Xterra , A Little Something Extra For The Adventurer In You!

Date of Review:  Oct 14, 2006
The Bottom Line: The Nissan Xterra is perhaps the quintessential backwoods vehicle delivering exceptional results and smiles in the outback.
Review: There is no doubting the impact that SUV s have had worldwide. You either love them or hate them, but the fact remains they are here for the long haul, gas prices and all. The fact is here is no better vehicle when you want to explore the backwoods,...

Shut up! You had me at "22 mpg"!

Date of Review:  Nov 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you want a well rounded vehicle, take a look at the Xterra. If it won't be used as 'off road', get the SE. The added extras are worth it.
Review: Enter the 2006 Nissan Xterra 4x2. Flavor = SE. At the 3,200 mile marker on the odometer, I am re-assured that the final $27,600 price tag was well worth every penny spent (and not just because I spent it!)

Going into the purchase of a new...

Versatile, fast, good looking SUV

Date of Review:  Sep 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: I recommend this SUV because of its price point combined with excellent performance, reliability, style, safety and rugged features.
Review: My model is a 2006 Nissan Xterra 4x4 S with all options.

Describe your experience using this product:

I've had this SUV now for a little over 3,000 miles. One 1,200 mile road trip was totally fine. I love this SUV overall! I...

2006 XTERRA S 4X4- Great bang for the buck!

Date of Review:  Jan 16, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a real truck SUV that's as comfortable in the mud as on the highway, this is it.
Review: Bought the Xterra primarily for the wife and baby, I've always been a big fan of Nissan as they are very dependable vehicles.(I already have a 2001 Maxima)

The Xterra is nice because it is a real truck, not a car trying to pretend to be a...

Date of Review:  Feb 8, 2006
The Bottom Line: I use this SUV like an SUV and have enjoyed it every day since buying it. It always surprises me at they end of a 4 wheeling weekend. Love it!
Review: I've owned this Xterra for 6 months now and have to say I've found that it's the perfect SUV. True to it's history it's a rugged, real thing, not too fancy utility vehicle. The ride is much nicer than earlier Xterras but it's still quite the...

SUPER SUV!

Date of Review:  Oct 11, 2006
Review: The 2006 Xterra was my first SUV, but I test-drove at least 8 other models before buying it... and the Xterra was the best by far. While it may not be "fancy" or "luxurious" by most standards, it's a really good looking vehicle, and extremely fun to...

Excellent Small SUV

Date of Review:  Sep 5, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is a great SUV worth buying. I recommend to anyone who wants a reliable and powerful SUV.
Review: I purchased a 2006 Nissan Xterra after I traded in my 2003 Jeep Liberty. The Jeep Liberty was a good truck, but I wanted to look for something with more power and refinement. I settled on the Nissan Xterra. I've had the Xterra for about a month and...

A REAL SUV!

Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2006
Review: What a great SUV, and not some watered-down, wannabe rugged model like the Ford Escape or Chevy Equinox. The handling is responsive and the interior is versatile. Plenty of power for towing boats, campers, etc.

The only downside I can see...

EXCEPTIONAL SUV!

Date of Review:  Jan 20, 2006
Review: I have owned SUV's for the past 12 years and the Xterra continues to be the BEST! I bought my first Xterra the first year they came out and LOVED it! Yes, the power wasn't great, but it's an SUV and was basically made to be off road. I live in the...

Outstanding SUV with very few flaws

Date of Review:  Nov 8, 2006
Review: The 2006 X-terra has a medium framed body with style that sets it apart from the rest of the pack. I bought mine in April and live in Wisconsin and I can't wait to see how she handles in the snow!! The X-terra was voted 2006 Motor Trend SUV/Truck of...
