Even for Gals - this one rocks!!
Pros:
Comparable to blades, quiet and comfy!
Cons:
Cord is a bit short
The Bottom Line:
I think more women would use electrics if they tried this one!

Author's Review
I have been deciding to buy an electric razor for quite some time. I've been using a Venus (straight razor) and their cartridges were becoming quite expensive - besides using them each day was leaving me with some nasty scars and I had enough.
I purchased this one because it was the least expensive (some electric's running up to near $200!), and Norelco has a great reputation. It is corded, but it didn't seem to bother me as I used an extention cord to get to my legs. - I don't know if this would be recommended, but you do what ya' gotta' do. Anyhow...I noticed the directions said that there may be an initial 21 day period of adjustment to the electric razor (oh no!), and I was quite cautious using it the first time. But - brother, what a surprise!!
Now - I have very, very course hair on my legs and I do shave every day. I just wanted something quicker and something where I wouldn't need I.V.'s, blood transfusions, etc. after not having enough coffee before my morning shower. This does a fantastic job! The very first time, I did experience some irritation on the back of my thigh, but I think I was just pushing too hard to reach an odd spot. The very next day (and each day since!) there is nothing but comfy, seemingly noiseless operation and it's part of my daily routine! I just love the feel of my legs now and actually look forward to doing it each morning while watching my T.V. news!!
This truly shaves as close as my blades did and I love that I haven't cut myself. The only thing I'd like to get now is the chargeable model to take on vacation or camping. Thanks Norelco!! You've won a female fan!!
