Excellent Workout Tool

I still am amused at Polar's description of this watch as "dress" in style, as it looks cheap. I had heart bypass surgery a few months back; believe me this was considerable motivation to take my exercise seriously. I was told by the exercise specialists in my cardiac rehab program that Polar is the only real choice for a sophisticated HRM. I was pleasantly surprised at this cross between a computer and a notepad - at a very reasonable price (anything is cheaper than heart surgery). If you want a good watch that also tells you your heart rate, you need not go far into the instruction manual. If you want to keep track of virtually any aspect of your multiple workout sessions, be ready to read the whole darn book.

Do not expect "deals" on the watch/HRM, but at $100.00, it is already a deal. Get one now and optimize your exercise routine. At some point you will get the optional chest strap, as the standard one is not comfortable.
