Watch corn popper or your "fired".

Date of Review:  Mar 11, 2003
The Bottom Line: Not recommended. Motor burn-outs can cause fire. No on/off switch causes live plug in/out.
Review: Purchased two (2) Presto Poplites from Sears over the last year-and-a-half as it was the only one they had. Each lasted less than 6 months with limited usage. The motor burned out on both units so this was not a fluke. No on/off switch forces you to...

Great Popcorn!

Date of Review:  Feb 5, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you like light airy popcorn, try this method of popping.
Review: Well, popcorn has always been my "filler food" to eat when im hungry, but I have always been less than happy with the stovetop method. I dont like microwave popcorn, its not very good. The main thing I didnt like about the stovetop popcorn is you...

"Anyone want some popcorn?"

Date of Review:  Apr 17, 2000
Review: That's possibly the most common phrase in my house. Between my roommate and myself, we often find ourselves with a house full of friends, be it the monthly poker game, a gaming session, or just movie night with our girlfriends, popcorn is always the...

Fast, Easy, Clean

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2008
The Bottom Line: For a fast fix of popcorn which is healthier go with this
Review: I love popcorn to no end but buying the microwave stuff just was not cutting it anymore not only was it not fresh but not so healthy either. I tried the old fashion way by making it on the stove but after burning myself twice I gave up. Then I cam...

Better than microwave popcorn for sure!

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it because it produces great popcorn.
Review: I purchased the Presto PopLite Popcorn Maker a few years ago. I was tired of microwave popcorn due to it's artificial ingredients. I had tried making popcorn on the stove using a kettle but it was somewhat messy and time consuming. Also, not a good...

Popcorn, anyone?

Date of Review:  Nov 14, 2001
The Bottom Line: This is one of the best hot air popcorn poppers available on the market, and if you like air-popped popcorn, this is the one to get.
Review: Wow, what a popcorn popper! (and I'm not blowing a bunch of hot air at you).

A few months ago, I went out in search of the perfect popcorn popper. I went to several stores, but much to my surprise, there were not very many popcorn popper...

Presto PopLite -- Popcorn has never tasted this bad before.

Date of Review:  Sep 8, 2001
The Bottom Line: This is a good idea, but I don't like plain air popped popcorn one bit.
Review: Picture the big bucket of popcorn at the theater with extra butter and lots of salt. You can probably smell that fresh popcorn and hear the ping, ping, ping of the kernels flying around in the glass popcorn house.

I hate to break this to...

An Air Popper That Really Works!

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2005
Review: This air popper may run about $5.00 more than other brands, but is well worth the price because it does what an air popper was intended to do: make healthy popcorn.

After having had terrible luck with a Toastmaster popper, I was skeptical...

Actually very usefull

Date of Review:  Jun 9, 2000
Review: I had never been one to use an air popper. They always seemed like something that was useless, you can always toss a bag of popcorn into the microwave right?

Well, after one of these items popped up the my apartment I decided to give it a...

Taller than the competition, so it works better

Date of Review:  Aug 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this product over the competition. I personally find air popping better than other methods, and this air popper is the best I found.
Review: I bought this popper after returning a "Kitchen Gourmet," and the Presto is much better. I knew there was something wrong with the "Kitchen Gourmet" because I had an air popper years ago and it worked well, like this Presto. I believe the difference...
