Great Phone at a Great Price

I buy products from companies I trust. Our old phone went kaput, so I started shopping for something new.

I really trust GE so this was one of the first brands I looked at. Bought a cheaper 5.8ghz set ($59) at Wal Mart that came with 3 remote handsets, but was getting a lot of feed back from my computer system's wireless router whenever I went outside with a handset.

So the first set went back to Wal Mart, and I did some digging online, and read about the DECT 6.0 technology. Sounded like just what I needed to correct the wireless router interference.

I found the phone online, and what really drew me to this model was the color (red), but what kept my attention was the sleek styling. The phone looks like a cell phone, and is lightweight. But it is packed with features, and additional remote handsets can be purchased (I could not find a multi-pack)

The best online price I found was at Target, so I called the nearest store and they had them on sale for even less! I had the clerk I talked to place one by the register and we picked it up a couple hours later.

The layout of the phone is ergonomically pleasing and the controls are easy to use with one hand. The phone is crisp and clear making callers easy to understand. (I haven't been on the other end, but I would guess the phone is sending a good signal) The handset has a speaker phone as well. The phone has great range (much better than the set I returned to Wal Mart)and calls are clear even when well away from the house.
