RCA RP3503 Desktop Cassette Voice Recorder

This model looked nice in the store. The price was reasonable. Was only going to use it for recording speech so I didn't require excellent sound quality. It plays a tape decently enough but the record button did not work right out of the packaging. You cannot depress it. (already tried pushing "play" at the same time) Since buying this broken recorder I have read other reviews. Some people have had good luck with it's performance while others have experienced breakage often within a matter of hours, or like me, immediately. I will return it and look for a different brand.
