I have had this TV since December. The first one I purchased had a problem with it, that it would blow the power controls board and leave me with nothing but a blinking green light at the bottom of the TV. After replacing the board once, Sharp realized they needed to replace the TV. That obviously was a pain, but Sharp Aquos customer service was quick in getting it repaired the first time, and getting it replaced the second. I currently have my XBOX 360 (uses 1080p), DVD player, Personal Computer (VGA hookup), and HD cable (480p & 1080i) hooked up to it and as for the picture, size and the rest, I am very pleased. My HD channels come in beautifully, my 360 games are very sharp, and the display for my computer is great! I have yet to purchase a Blu Ray player, but I am sure it would look great as well.
Overall this TV has plenty of hookups, a great picture, an easy setup, good accompanying sound, and is a great overall TV. Other then the initial defective TV problems, I am very pleased, and have no complaints. This TV has lowered a good deal in price, since I purchased it, and I am kicking myself for not waiting and purchasing the 52" version for $100 more then I bought this one, on sale just one month after I made the purchase. It is definitely a great TV for the price.
Rated it a four star because of the initial problems with the defective TV. I am guessing their quality control isn't spectacular, but I may have just got unlucky.
