Great camera

I replaced my Sony DSC V1 camera with this DSC W200. My old Sony camera was very bad in low light and with the colors red and green. I took about 200 pictures when I got this camera and have seen great colors and clarity. I also was able to take low light pictures and see the subjects and the backgrounds clearly. The 12 mega pixels is worth it especially if you do a lot of touching up on your photos. I zoomed in over 200x on Adobe and there was no pixelation. The 12 mega pixels is great for cropping also. A lot of articles think this amount of mega pixels is not necessary, but for the price it is worth it. I will write more if I find any faults with this camera. I have 2 small children and speed between shoots is very important. This camera won't dissapoint. You can take almost a picture a second. You can also set the camera to shoot in burst mode as you hold the shoot button. I used this feature and was very happy with the results. The camera also does a great job with steady shot. I havent' noticed a blur in any of my pictures. The face detection system is pretty impressive. It will put a box around the faces to show that they are being recognized. You can tell the difference in quality when it recognizes the faces. They seem to be in better focus and color. If you are in the market for a new camera (especially a small one) this is a no brainer.
