Awesome DVD changer, finally an affordable mass storage video solution!

I bought this DVD changer because I record a lot of TV shows that I like to keep for future watching, but this obviously fills up even today's biggest hard drives in no time. I didn't bother with DVDs before due to their ridiculously small 4.7 to 9.4GB capacity which was pretty much pointless with the size of the videos I have, it would take hundreds of DVDs and I knew I wouldn't ever bother to browse through so many discs to find a program I wanted to watch.
When I saw the CX995V, I knew this machine would solve the problem of DVDs since I could group 400 discs into a single device. I now have about 40 DVDs burnt and loaded which are the past few years of recordings I had in my PC which use only 10% of the player's capacity. This offers nearly 2 terabytes of storage (almost 4 with dual layer discs) for a fraction of the cost any other solution can offer.
There are a few annoying issues with the machine's operating system, for example you cannot access certain menus or the disc list until a disc has loaded to the main menu, but overall it is well worth it. I have a printed list of the discs and their contents mostly because each disc contains 4 to 8 TV shows so one title per disc isn't enough for me, but it is fine to use with regular DVDs.
Changing discs takes about 30 seconds, which is more than acceptable since doing it by hand would be longer not to mention you couldn’t do it with a press of a button, and it would still take quite a while to load anyway.
If you have a lot of DVDs that you watch multiple times, this is a great DVD changer. I use it only for TV recordings but it is definitely a great option for DVDs also, but I tend to watch TV recordings more often than DVDs, I rarely watch movies more than once.
