The Bottom Line: For a wide range of portrait, landscape, wildlife, limited-action, and short movies, it is a super camera with a superb performance. If you liked the FD95, you'll LOVE the FD97.

Excellent camera with professional features.

The Bottom Line: Top of the line camera that uses a floppy or memory stick as storage medium.
Review: This is my 3rd Sony digital camera and second "upgrade." This camera is still easy in a point-and-shoot way but also offers very advanced spot metering, exposure settings and aperture control for the enthusiast.

The Bottom Line: Great Portraits and Zoom Shots loaded with professional features has SteadyShot for zooming Great battery life and av output to do slide shows. The best camera around for the money!
Review: I have owned this and two other digital cameras in the last 3 years and this is a work horse! I do festivals and special events and portrait work. I have shot over 11,000 photos in the last 14 months with this camera and it does great work.

Great Semi-professional Camera

Review: Very good quality of shots, loaded with features. Powerful zoom. I got it used on eBay for approx. $700 and have been using it for almost one year since then. The camera is definitely worth what I paid for it.
