Author's Review

I bought this refrigerator 6 months ago as part of a total renovation of my kitchen and cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Although a bit pricey compared to the other refrigerators I looked at, to me it was money well spent. After looking at the other products on the market, I chose to purchase the Sub-Zero for the many attractive features it offered. The two biggest selling points to me were the following: (1) The freezer is located at the bottom of the unit which makes a lot of sense. I feel that we go into the refrigerator part of the unit at least twice as much as the freezer so why have to bend that many more times in your typical model of freezer on top and fridge on the bottom; (2) The Sub-Zero model which I purchased offered me the ability to have panels applied to the front of it to match my new kitchen cabinets. Makes for a more streamlined look in my kitchen. Looks like part of the cabinets.
If you've got extra money to spend on this unit (it definately is pricey), and renovating your kitchen, I would definately say to purchase it.
