Author's Review
I purchased my 2002 Subaru Forester Premium Package, also referred to as the SX or OK option, in May of this year 2005. It has heated seats and mirrors, windshield wiper defrosters, compass and self dimming rearview mirror, painted bumpers, side impact airbags, full seat belts for each position, rear bumper cover, leather seats, 6 disk cd changer, extra tall arm rest, a foldable cargo bin and a huge moon roof. I started looking at a Volvo station wagon at the dealership, then spent 8 hours looking the entire inventory to be sure I was getting what I really wanted. My sales person was great and a very patient person. Carmax Rocks! After looking at over 25 cars my wife gets my attention and points to a strange looking car. It turns out be my new Silver Subaru Forester. Took it for a test-drive and loved it! Asked the dealer to hold it for the night, since they were closing in an hour anyway they said yes. Went home and reviewed the safety rating for both the Volvo and the Forester and Wham!!! The Forester won hands down. The car only had 24K and for a 2002 that was the icing on the cake!
Since I "christen" each car I have ever owned this new addition to our family needed a name. One came to me almost at once, inspired by the huge moon roof. That day we introduced our two children to the new "Pope Mobile." They love riding in it as much as I love driving it! If you have the chance, get one!
