Somedays, you feel like touring Egypt in your Dodge Viper. Other days, you feel like visiting Cape Hatteras in your Mustang GT. You can do all this and more at speeds of over 200 miles an hour.
We tried all the racing games and found this to be the best one. You can choose your car from 3 different classes without a memory card. You can then visit the paint shop and choose the color. All cars come manual transmission or automatic. We've found that the manual transmission is very difficult to do with the way the controller is set up.
The handling on this game is the best out there. Of course, some cars are better than others and harder to control, but most are fairly easy. When you have a memory card, you advance to higher levels of cars and harder tracks. Without a memory card, your choices are somewhat limited, but you can still race head-to-head with someone.
There are a ton of different tracks, with locations like England, London, Egypt, Rome, Ireland, Jordan, Maui, Lake Tahoe, Switzerland, Italy, Caribbean, and various racetracks. They are very realistic and life-like.
You can also choose to do a cop chase, where you try to outrun the police. You can also be the policeman and chase after your friends!
The first night we got this game, my husband and I played for hours. It is very addicting. After playing for a long time, it does start to hurt your eyes, so take it slow!
