The Bottom Line: The cast is cute, and there are some genuinely funny parts. If you are into gross humor, then this is the movie for you.

The Bottom Line: The Sweetest Thing leaves a nasty aftertaste. Do not waste your money on this movie that appears to be have written and directed by a team of incompetent monkeys.

The sour thing

The Bottom Line: Cute stars and a few fun gags in search of a real movie.
Review: Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, and Thomas Jane. They, and the chemistry between them, are the only sweet things about The Sweetest Thing, a sour attempt at making a Farrelly Brothers-style, down-and-dirty laugher for the female set.

A Pretty Sweet Flick

The Bottom Line: Pretty good, mindless, Farrelly brothers style "gross-out" humor. Not for prudes or those easily offended by dirty jokes.
Review: I went to see this movie not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Though the script was lacking, it had some pretty funny moments and gave you a realistic girl's eye view of the dating scene.
