Tacoma 06 Access Cab, 6spd , SR5
Pros:
Excellent truck, time tested engine, great looking SR5 pkg.
Cons:
I don't like the lack of being able to pick and choose options.
The Bottom Line:
Very nice truck, backed by Toyotas proven longevity.

I just bought a 06 Yoda,SR5, 6spd, access cab, with trailer hitch.
My first truck and first Toyota. Though not unfamilar with cars and trucks as I was a autobody tech for 30yrs. The fit and finish on my truck was perfect. One minor problem was the clock did not work and after delivery the airbag light came on. This was resolved by the dealer right away, the disconnected clock caused the problem.
The paint and finish of the interior was perfect.
I purposely looked for a SR5 with hitch but with out the TRD suspension. I never intend any off road work other than the occasional non paved/dirt road while trailering my bass boat.
The added cost of the TRD and the ride was a turn off, for me.
Currently I have a 1000 miles on it and no complaints, truck handles good, has Dunlop A2's on it and they are just a spec tire for cost.
My dealer(and others) were reluctant to try to find me the exact truck I was looking for. I found this truck at another dealer sitting way back in there lot.I then contacted my dealer to go and get the truck for me. They only seem to want to sell trucks from there lot.
I currently am recording 19mpg, mostly rural driving and very little highway driving at this time. I will continue to post a review.
Two of my closet friends have identical trucks and have occured no problems.
