Can you spell P-L-A-T-I-N-U-M five times?

If anyone was skeptical about American Idol, Carrie Underwood is sure to set you straight. Her debut album, Some Hearts, has gone platinum for the fifth time. Anyone that watched season four may remember Simon Cowell saying after she sang one week that not only will she win the show but she will outsell any other American Idol. Maybe he does know what he is talking about after all. Carrie was an unknown farm girl who is now a fave time platinum Grammy winner. I have to be honest. Back then I was routing for Constantine but the ultimate winner was indeed just that. The first four songs released as singles have become number one country hits. She has really proven herself and I would venture to guess that any others from this CD that are released are sure to go straight to the top as well. The first two hits, "Jesus takes the Wheel" and "Remember Me" were more Carrie-like, kind of goody goody and subdued. However the two new ones "Before He Cheats" and "Wasted" are definitely on the edgier side but just as good. I have downloaded the first few on itunes and then I decided to purchase the whole CD because I figured it would be less expensive in the long run if shew was going to keep releasing more hits. This country girl has made it to the big time and at least five million CD buyers agree. I would highly recommend getting a copy of this CD for your collection.
