VL-557 2GB Great Deal for the Money

The Bottom Line: I recommend this device for it's low price and functionality. Great for MP3/MP4's, Ok for Video playback. Also has an Ebook reader, Voice Recorder, and Games.
As I see everyone and their grandmother wearing one of these devices, I decided I would get one for myself. I searched Ebay trying to find a deal as I'm not paying $200 for an iPod. I ran across alot of different models/type. I read a very good review on Ebay about these off brand devices and one stuck out more than the rest.
The company MiPodzs sells this VL-557 2GB model in a few different colors. I bought this last week and recieved it a few days later. It comes in a descent package with 2 types of chargers and earphones and jelly case. I was impressed how small the unit is. It plays Video(although the FPS is a lil slow)and at least it does come with some easy to use amv converter software for video. I uploaded a huge set of music folders to it. I recommend naming each folder by artist so its easy to look up and play. It was simple to use: drag and drop. Just how I like my electronics.
The Menu is very clean and the graphics are very new looking. It also has an E-Book Reader, a built-in mic for the Voice Recorder. One feature I also really liked was the built-in FM Radio. The local radio stations reception was crisp. It also has a couple games installed and I will be uploading some games: Tetris of couse and others and see how they play.
Over all this mp3/mp4/video player is great for the price $59.99 s&h! The only downfall is the charger (wall unit) has 2 lights: Red/Green. I guess the green is to say when its done charging which has yet to ever happen all week. Battery life seems great as I took this to work and it plays for hours with out fail.
