I was blessed with this Zojirushi Bread Machine for Christmas this past year. I've had other bread machines, but the loaves just are not big enough for our family of 11 and many bread machines just cannot get through whole wheat dough well-enough. The two pound loaf this makes is just enough for a side for a meal.
I also like the fact that even with whole wheat flour, I can do the "Quick Wheat Setting" and have it ready to serve in just over 2 hours. We also often use the overnight setting, to wake up to wonderful smelling bread, first thing in the morning!
The directions and recipe book that are included with this machine are very informative and helpful and give wonderful ideas for various types of bread, doughs, jams (YES! There is even a jam setting), cake, and sandwich bread. There is a good troubleshooting guide and questions and answers.
The only difficulties I've had "occasionally" is the baking blade will stick in the bread. This happens with many bread machines, so this is not unusual and does not happen often. Also, precautions do need to be taken to use a plastic spoon or rubber spatula so you do not scratch up the inside of the bread machine.
This bread machine is a "must have" in our home now! We enjoy the great smelling and great tasting bread on a regular basis!
