The Bottom Line: If you're willing to shell out some cash, the iPod mini is a superior product compared to it's competitors.

Apple's Saving Grace

The Bottom Line: Get an iPod. Whether it be a mini or another model. I love my mini, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else until it finally stops working.
Review: Honestly? I had given myself the option of buying either an iPOd or a car. I picked the iPod. Initially I was set on getting a 20GB original iPod. I didn't need 60 gigs and I didn't want a shuffle, which to me, seemed useless for the most part.

The Bottom Line: Battery life choices - "Terrible 30 minutes" - actually about 3hrs., but supposed to be 8 hours. A "cool vs. functional" analysis might make you think twice.

Review: I bought this two years ago and now its nothing more than a pretty coaster. Apparently the mini's have had a huge number of battery life problems and that's the real reason that Apple stopped making them and introduced the Nano instead.
