Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard

Date of Review:  Oct 17, 2008
The Bottom Line: The Microsoft Ergonomic is a good keyboard to help you avoid repetitive motion injuries in your hands and wrists.
Review: Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard

Earlier this spring I started to notice pain in my hands and wrists as I typed; I therefore purchased this keyboard which is supposed to allow you to type in a more natural posture. I've seen ergonomic...

Returned two defective keyboards

Date of Review:  Jan 12, 2008
The Bottom Line: Try one out in a store first. If it is comfortable then buy it. Make sure that the keys work properly.
Review: The spacebar should have been split in half. Pressing it at a comfortable typing position usually doesn't feel like it triggers it well and it seems to miss frequently. Try it out an in-store demo first! It feels like trying to press a key from the...

Hope you don't need to use the spacebar

Date of Review:  Aug 1, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you really need an ergonomic keyboard, and can teach your thumb the precise spot to press the space bar then this may work out for your.
Review: This review is for the Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard, I ve been using numerous keyboards over the last 20 years and touch typing for the last 6 of these years. My purpose in purchasing the Keyboard 400 was to reduce some of the wrist and finger pain...

Quit working after 18 months

Date of Review:  Oct 4, 2008
Review: Bought the MS Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard about 18 months ago. It was a good keyboard until it three keys quit working (one letter and 2 on the keypad). No idea how to fix it and had to buy another one (not MS) before throwing it away.

Not perfect, pretty poor actually.

Date of Review:  May 20, 2006
Review: The keyboard has good hand positions, and a lot of nifty features such as volume control and programmable "favorites" keys. Most of the keys are very light and easy to push, but the space key has a serious problem being activated. It may be due to...

Be careful if you use a laptop

Date of Review:  Nov 13, 2007
Review: The keyboard driver software will cause your keyboard on the laptop to freak out when it is not connected. This feature is mostly only visible when you are connected to a projector (as in giving a presentation in front of important people). The main...

Nice layout, nice features, mushy keys, not usable for production

Date of Review:  Jul 13, 2007
The Bottom Line: Not recommended for touch typists or a work environment. A very fatiquing keyboard to use. Keys bind if not pressed dead centre.
Review: Hi,
I spend all day on the computer writing reports, answering email etc. A comfortable, responsive keyboard is a must.

I searched for a replacement ergonomic keyboard and settled on the MS-Ergonomic 4000. It has a nice layout and a...
